huge midtown mixed-use development gets greenlight by the city

Buckingham%20maintuesday night’s final approval by the city allows a 1.75 acre site at the epicenter of where broadway, division, & 21st avenue all meet, to be rezoned for a $120 million mixed-use project.  the corner lot where ken’s sushi, marios, benchmark & wendys all sit will encompass 479,000 square feet of building area:  a 19-story hotel, retail, residential, & structured parking.

if everything goes according to plan, the developer, buckingham cos, hopes to break ground in mid-june.
