the adelicia in midtown just scored a great new destination spot. the tippler, an industrial, sophisticated bar in the heart of chelsea is branching outside of new york city and hopes to open their nashville locale in august.
they will take over an 8,000 square foot space that was once home to miro district and later fish & co. vacant for the last two years, the space is getting an extensive overhaul which will include a 120 year old cherry mahogany bar made in italy and other antique pieces which has been part of the look of their nyc hotspot.
odds are good they are landing in this location at a good time with the 1.9 acre corner of division and broadway gearing up for a major transformation in the next few months. plans are underway for a mixed-use development that will include a hotel, condos, apartments, retail, shops and a parking garage.
